He asked if I’ve had Echt Kriekenbier by the same brewery. Found my goblet vessel, popped the bottle and awaited the angels to come down and take me to beer heaven. Made a comment about the enormous bottle size to Rami, the owner. Since I’ve only seen the smaller bottles being sold, the large bottle kinda fascinated me for some strange reason. I hadn’t , but since the Duchesse is next to perfect, I purchased, not even remembering if he said it was good or not. The beer pours a deep ruby red, reminisant in color of a red delicious apple. Anyway, quick shout-out to Rami,the store owner. I’m such a daring soul aren’t I. . Now for the Beer Review. It was the impulse buyer in me I guess.
